SEE MELCHIOR’S MAGICAL MYSTERY QUEST - ON DVD!

OUR most recent production was the Christmas family play Melchior’s Magical Mystery Quest by Nigel Forde .

It’s the story of three wise men, their not-so-wise servants, and a pretty dim camel Desmond (pictured below with Laura Newell as Melchior’s servant Kash-Kash) as they trek across Persia and Palestine in search of the baby who might help to solve the mysteries of the universe. This fun-filled family show was packed to the brim with songs, slapstick and something of the magic of the first Christmas.

Top Cat toured the show around churches in south-east Hampshire during December 2007. An extra performance had to be added to the tour after the Hayling Island show sold out. The play raised £1,000 for the appeal to reorder St Jude’s Church, Southsea.
